JODI WATKINS' LIFE, HEALTH, AND LEADERSHIP SHARED LEARNING COMMUNITY
One of the main reasons keeping a food diary is so useful is people aren’t great at remembering or estimating what and how much they’ve eaten. When you aren't keeping track of your food intake, it can be easy to overeat and often takes longer to reach your goals. In fact, research shows keeping a food diary is one of the most effective weight-loss strategies out there. Tracking consistently is proven to help you reach your goals. It helps you be more mindful of what and how much you’re taking in and how it all affects your body. The more you practice this new habit, the better able you are to become disciplined and improve your health long-term. Nutrition has to be sustainable, a lifestyle, and be a priority in your life. This is the only way you will stick to it. My goal is to do whatever I can to help you stick to it! One day at a time. It's a marathon, not a sprint, and over time, it will all get easier. I am proof of this. Be willing to take the first step and see what can happen once you become consistent. If you have any questions, make sure you use the "Discussion Board" to ask them.
